Flower Power

Sometimes all you need is a little flower to brighten your day.



I find myself looking at the street a lot when I walk around...rarely looking up at the skyscrapers. It's for a few reasons, I think.

1) sidewalk cracks
2) doggie doo doo
3) dead rodents
4) ...finding money!

Fire Destruction

Always sad to see a fire and know that some families have been displaced.
Looks like it affected at least three floors of apartments :(

I saw folks cleaning out the shop the day before, and it didn't look salvagable

Birdland

It was less than a lullaby and more of a cacophony when I turned a corner and saw all these birds.

Usually, the sight of a few flocks all munching together is reserved for the park or that Bird Lady of Brooklyn.

Oh how lucky was I.

From Upper Manhattan

From the hills of Upper Manhattan, the trees in the background is New Jersey!
